This Benefits Import File Template lets you define benefit, earning, and deduction rules used in union reporting, fringe credit validation, and payroll processing.
Required Fields

| Type | Choose one: info, earning, or deduction

| Calculation Method | Choose from: hours worked, pay gross, pay total

Optional Fields
Use these fields to create rules that only apply to specific workers or groups:

Fringe Credit Flag

Best Practices
- Use
infotype for union-reported benefits that don’t affect pay - Use
earningfor taxable wages that should appear in payroll - Use
deductionfor employer-managed withholdings - Only mark Fringe Credit as
yesif the benefit directly reduces the required prevailing wage fringe amount
