Once the post-payroll journal integration is enabled, your TradeSeal support team will configure it to match your payroll provider’s export format.
You don’t need to take any technical steps — however, you may be asked to:
- Provide a sample payroll journal export file from your payroll system
- Confirm the export includes employee names, pay types, hours, gross wages, and itemized deductions
- Confirm that deduction names are labeled clearly and consistently
TradeSeal uses this information to map payroll data into the correct fields for Certified Payroll reporting and other outputs.
