TradeSeal implementation is structured into three key phases designed to get you live quickly and accurately. Each phase includes clear milestones, and while our team guides the process, successful implementation depends on active participation from your team.
🚦 Phase 1: Build Data Rules
This is where your setup begins. In this phase, you will configure your data to align with TradeSeal’s structure — beginning with importing your foundational payroll data.
During this phase, you will:
Attend kickoff meeting
Confirm roles, milestones, and access
Provide company names (if Multi-EIN)
Import employees, rates, benefits, and jobs
Confirm timecard format
(Optional) Import overtime rules
Review data and approve final revisions
🛠️ Phase 2: Import Hours
In this phase, you will begin importing timecard data into TradeSeal to validate your payroll structure and prepare for testing.
During this phase, you will:
Receive hours (timecard) import instructions
Import hours for at least two separate pay periods
Validate imported time data for accuracy
✅ Phase 3: Training & Testing (Gross Pay)
In this phase, you will validate gross pay calculations and complete parallel testing before approval.
During this phase, you will:
Attend Rate Validation training
Complete Rate Validation training
Receive parallel testing instructions
Complete parallel test and approve Gross Pay report
🔁 Continued Support: Add-Ons, Reports & Live Data Integration
After implementation, the TradeSeal team remains available to help you expand.
Test your payroll export
Run a live payroll with support from our team
Fine-tune Certified Payroll and Union report automation
Configure real-time integrations with payroll, timekeeping, and accounting systems
Enable add-ons like WAOT, salary allocations, or job costing
🧭 Who’s responsible?
TradeSeal will guide each step of implementation and provide technical assistance, but your team is responsible for uploading accurate data, completing payroll testing, and staying on track. Your estimated implementation timeline is outlined in your contract, and additional services can be purchased if you need more time or support.
