Your HCM TradeSeal implementation follows three guided phases—each with key tasks that you, the client, are responsible for completing. Use this checklist to track your progress and stay aligned with your Implementation Specialist.
🟦 Phase 1: Discovery & Data Onboard
These tasks ensure we start with clean, complete data:
- Attend your kickoff meeting
- Complete your Discovery Call (Standard Plus & Enterprise only)
- Choose the right Employee Import template
- Upload employee data and source files
- Review any flagged data with the TradeSeal team and re-upload as needed
- Set up jobs and unions (if applicable)
- Upload wage and benefit rules for prevailing wage or union jobs
🟨 Phase 2: Training & System Configuration
In this phase, you’ll learn how to use TradeSeal and configure your payroll process:
- Attend your live training or review recorded sessions
- Practice using Rate Validation and Cost Entry
- Review your sample payroll export
- Configure your payroll system using our mapping and export specs
- Complete a full test run from upload → export → payroll
🟩 Phase 3: Pre & Post Payroll Support
You’re now preparing to run live payroll:
- Receive your production credentials (Standard Plus & Enterprise only)
- Run parallel payroll for side-by-side comparison
- Run and submit at least 2 production payrolls using TradeSeal
- Generate Certified Payroll and Union reports for compliance
- Finalize go-live checklist with your Implementation Specialist
- Transition to Customer Support
🔁 Continued Support & Add-Ons
After go-live, you can continue expanding your workflow:
- Add-on integration (API integration, GL, job cost, WAOT, custom reports, etc.)
- Enable live syncs with your payroll or ERP system
- Request additional training or support as needed
Tip: Your goal is to complete all three phases within the timeline estimated in your contract. If additional services are needed, extended implementation is available for purchase.
