TradeSeal connects your time, payroll, and accounting data—applying the correct union and prevailing wage rules, and generating reports for certified payroll and beyond.
1. Employee Hours
You can bring employee time into HCM TradeSeal in a few different ways:
- Without an API:
Upload timesheets from your payroll provider using Source Upload, or enter them manually through Cost Entry. - With an API:
Use Connection Manager to select the payroll dates. TradeSeal will automatically pull employee hours from your payroll system based on the integrations supported in your setup.
Hours can be job-costed, assigned to tickets or projects, and are used to calculate compliance data like prevailing wage and union rates.
2. Payroll Data
Payroll data follows a similar workflow:
- Without an API:
Import payroll files manually using Data Manager. You’ll also upload supporting data such as:- Job codes
- Benefit data
- Pay rates
- With an API:
In Connection Manager, choose the payroll dates. TradeSeal will pull in all relevant payroll data automatically, depending on the integrations enabled for your organization.
Once your data is imported, review everything in Rate Validation, then:
- Export the payroll using:
- TradeSeal’s default export template, or
- The template built to match your payroll provider's format (if enabled and available)
3. Portals
After processing your payroll, you can:
- Upload your Payroll Journal via Source Upload
- Export certified payroll and union reports directly to the appropriate portals (where supported)
- Download PDF reports for recordkeeping or manual submission
4. ERP Systems
If you use an accounting or ERP platform (like CMiC, Procore, Viewpoint, etc.):
- TradeSeal can push actuals—including union and prevailing wage adjustments—into your ERP
- Export formats must be properly supported and configured
