The Cash Fringe section uses color highlights to help you quickly understand how prevailing wage requirements are being satisfied. These colors separate required amounts from credited amounts and supporting calculation details.
Color meanings
Green values
Green highlights required or final compliance-related amounts.
You will typically see green on:
Total Prevailing Wage
Total Hourly Rate with Benefits
Prevailing Wage Rate
Prevailing Wage Benefits
Cash in Lieu
These are the key required values or final output amounts used to determine whether the employee’s total compensation satisfies prevailing wage requirements.
Blue values
Blue highlights actual wage or benefit amounts that are being applied toward the requirement.
You will typically see blue on:
Rate of Pay
Total Fringe Credit
These values represent compensation the employee is already receiving, either through direct wages or eligible fringe benefits.
Neutral values
Values with no color are supporting details within the calculation.
These may include:
Pay Rate Above Prevailing Wage Rate
Individual fringe credits such as 401(k), medical/dental/vision, PTO, and holidays
These figures help explain how the total was calculated, but they are not usually the primary compliance totals.
