If your Union Report includes incorrect hours, wages, or benefit calculations, you can make corrections and generate an updated version. TradeSeal supports clean adjustments by allowing you to process corrections as a separate payroll and merge them for accurate union reporting.
Common Adjustment Scenarios
Most union report corrections involve:
- Zeroing out incorrect hours using negative hours
- Entering corrected hours as positive entries
- Processing the correction as a separate one-off payroll
Step-by-Step Process
- Review the original union report to identify any issues
- Make corrections by:
- Clicking on employee names from the Rate Validation screen
- Adjusting time, job, union, or position in Cost Entry (as a separate group of timecards, TradeSeal does not recommend editing the original timecard.)
- Import corrected time as a new payroll file
- Go to Generate Reports > Union Report
- Select both the original and adjustment payrolls
- Choose Excel format and click Generate
The system will merge data from both payrolls into a single corrected union report.
